About the role

Key Accountabilties:

  1. Position and/or deliver complex requirements and large projects work to a client – generic, through call-off contracts or packaged offers
  2. In some situations, support presales / sales to create new consulting business opportunities with new/ existing customers leveraging specialized areas of experience
  3. Stay abreast technical, financial, strategic and operational issues, options and advancements within the IT/Telecom industry relevant to the Orange Business services consulting services portfolio and customer evolving requirements
  4. Note and escalate service development required to meet client needs
  5. Actively participate in creating knowledge capital and developing methods and tools
  6. Lead projects and as part of a project organization respecting cost, quality and time constraints

Dimensions:

  1. Financial – – Proper reporting for achieved personal billable hours targets per annum based on value agreed to with management.

  • ¿ Provide day-to-day guidance /mentoring to new and existing staff
  •  Manage a project specific technical team
  • Participates in employee recruitment
  • Team lead function within the region with global assignments if needed.

¿ Develop innovative technical solutions in area(s) of expertise

¿ Develop different forms /blueprints of technical architecture

¿ Develop technical readiness assessments tools/ templates

¿ Develop customization models for different architectures

About you

Knowledge and abilities

Ability to:

¦ Engage and partner with clients at a detailed technical, functional and operational level

¦ Deliver high value, billable technical services in support of project full life cycle or a service implemented at a customer

¦ Identify and develop key partner relationships as required

¦ Sell and promote technical service activities

¦ Participate to large projects and as part of a project organization

¦ Deliver bill of material and LOE for specific consulting delivery activities

¦ Recognize and assess clients· key business drivers and challenges

¦ Guide other consultants in key technical area(s) of expertise

¦ Develop technical solutions knowledge base

¦ Continuously develop innovation capabilities accompanied with customer innovation engagement

¦ Develop different assessment types (Technical readiness, business continuity, business performance, etc…)

¦ Develop technical architecture documents at different levels ( High Level and Low Level designs)

¦ Customize different technical solutions

¦ Quantify and articulate costs/benefits of investments in strategic IT solutions

Education, qualifications, and certifications

Desirable:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or relevant technical field required

2. MSc or commensurate work experience and practical knowledge

3. Certifications in area(s) of expertise

Experience

¦ Minimum 6 years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry or equivalent

¦ Proven track record in delivering value consulting services (4 or more years of experience or equivalent)

¦ Strong experience in at least two areas of technology

¦ Proven track record in developing technical competencies knowledge base(s)

¦ Solid experience in developing innovative technical solutions

¦ Strong background in running technical assessment models

¦ Solid written communication experience using office productivity tools like MS WORD,Excel,Powerpoint and Visio

¦ Proven track record in customizing set of technical solutions

¦ Solid experience in development business based technology solutions

¦ Strong background in technical consulting ,technical requirements and design in addition to process analysis design and improvement
