About the role

The successful candidate has a confirmed experience in presales/solution and consulting for IoT and Smart Cities projects.

The candidate will lead IoT / Smart Cities customer solution design leveraging on Orange internal capabilities, partners eco-system and  demonstrate the following :

Track record of IoT and Smart Cities pre-sales engagements and project deployments

Strong solution architecture skills with track records in designing and delivering large complex end to end solutions covering multiple solution components

Ability to articulate IoT / Smart Cities solutions in front of customers and engage with customers stakeholders to scope the requirements that fit the customer needs

Expertise, working experience and deep knowledge to define and design IoT solutions and  Smart Cities such as IoT sensors deployment digital living, smart buildings, smart cities platforms and command center, smart access control, digital applications

Ability to manage an eco-system of partners to ensure technical ,cost and schedule compliance

Ability to develop inovative solutions proposals and pricing models within cost and schedule

Ability to qualify customer requirements and design suitable solution

Ability to work with customers in a consulting mode to be able to recommend how to achieve improvements in customer experience, business process, revenue & costs through digital technologies

Deep knowlesge of IoT and Smart Cities technology eco-system partners, be able to explouit current and emerging technology trends to best meet customer requirements

Understanding of IoT solutions life cycle, from design to implementation and potential risks

Ability to execute solutions presentations, demos and handle scenario sessions with prospects

Primary focus of the role is to work as an integral member of the OAB APAC regional solution experts team to drive revenue through deal execution, and sales readiness. In that role, the IoT and Smart Cities solution expert will analyse the customer requirements and design best-in-class solution in order to support customer’s digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities of the solution expert includes active participation in any of the following: customer sales cycles, strategy sessions, value based product presentations or demonstrations, coordination and conducting Proof of Concept’s. The candidate should be an evangelist and knowledge multiplier, with great presenting – and communication skills and commercial / technical experienced.

About you

University Degree ideally with a high degree in Technology or Business
Ideally the candidate should demonstrate working experience in IOT and Smart Cities Projects
Ideally the candidate should demonstrate training or working experience in large application and infrastructure projects
Proficient English.
5+ years of IoT, Smart Cities solution specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience / Smart Cities consulting experience
5+ years presales experience supporting major sales engagements including government projects and/or delivery/consulting experience in Smart Cities
Strong knowledge of IoT, IT systems architecture frameworks and other components to design complex solutions
Thorough understanding of a customer engagmenet lifecycle from opportunioty creation to closure as well as bid
Strong technical background and experience in solutions selling
Highly motivated and ability to work in fast changing environment
Successful sales or implementation engagements with IoT and Smart Cities
Good communications skills

Regular
